Room Attendant at University

Become a Room Attendant at the Chestnut Residence and Conference Centre in downtown Toronto. This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in guest and student rooms.

Reporting to the Rooms Manager, you will ensure all rooms are cleaned and supplied according to established housekeeping procedures. This position requires attention to detail and effective communication, as you will also report damages and assist with various cleaning tasks that contribute to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep clean bathrooms, including showers and vanities

• Dust and clean all furniture and appliances

• Vacuum carpets and apply cleaning solutions

• Assess cleaning requirements for different areas

• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests

Requirements:

• Completion of tenth grade or equivalent

• One year of cleaning experience preferred

• Ability to communicate in English effectively

• Strong attention to detail and motivation

• Capability to lift and stand for long periods
