Role Description
High Sociétéa is seeking a talented
Violinist & Travel Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis in Downtown Toronto.
This unique role combines live musical performance with guest engagement, storytelling, and hospitality. As the onboard host, you will perform throughout each experience while welcoming guests, sharing fascinating stories about Toronto's landmarks, and helping deliver an exceptional luxury experience from boarding through departure.
Working closely with the Operations team, servers, and driver, you will help ensure every journey runs seamlessly while creating memorable moments for every guest.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident performer who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Perform live violin throughout each afternoon tea experience.
Welcome guests and assist with boarding.
Narrate Toronto's landmarks and share engaging stories during the tour.
Deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury hospitality environment.
Coordinate with the onboard team to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with setup before each departure and teardown at the conclusion of each experience.
Help create an elegant, welcoming atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations.
Maintain a polished and professional appearance while representing the High Sociétéa brand.
Qualifications
Strong violin performance skills with the ability to perform confidently in a live hospitality setting.
Excellent communication, public speaking, and storytelling abilities.
Friendly, engaging, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
Professional, reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Ability to work aboard a moving vehicle while following all safety and operational procedures.
Standard First Aid & CPR Certification is required.
Smart Serve Certification is considered an asset.
Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, events, or customer service is an asset.
Knowledge of Toronto's history and landmarks is beneficial; training will be provided.
