The National Club

The National Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation expected by our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dining rooms, lounges, meeting rooms, offices, corridors and other member areas
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, locker rooms and employee facilities
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and polish furniture, fixtures and surfaces
• Restock toiletries, towels and housekeeping supplies
• Collect garbage, recycling and used linens
• Identify and report maintenance, safety or supply concerns
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests from members, guests and colleagues
• Protect member privacy and maintain discretion at all times
• Complete other housekeeping-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred
• Experience in a private club, hotel, restaurant or luxury hospitality environment is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Professional, respectful and service-oriented
• Able to safely lift up to 25 pounds and remain active throughout the shift
• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of safe cleaning-product handling is an asset
