Role Overview

The HR Manager – Global Operations will lead human resources across Canada, the U.S., and India. This role is both strategic and operational, owning the global HR operations framework while ensuring executional excellence across hiring, compliance, analytics, and engagement. You’ll manage a distributed HR and Recruitment team, modernize systems, and drive cultural alignment across regions. This role is ideal for a hands‑on operator who thrives in complexity and wants to build structure and predictability in a high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities 🌍 Global HR Operations
  • Lead HR operations across all three regions (Canada, U.S., India), ensuring consistent employee experience and compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a global HR and Recruitment team of 8–10, including 5 India‑based recruiters and HR generalists in North America.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle—onboarding, documentation, background checks, exit management, and coordination.
  • Maintain a two‑week onboarding SLA; ensure all joining kits, IDs, and documentation are completed on time.
  • Implement automation and AI‑based tools to improve accuracy, speed, and candidate quality.
  • Define HR SLAs for recruitment, onboarding readiness, and hiring manager updates; track and report weekly.
📊 HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Transition all HR reporting into a unified Power

  • Maintain real‑time metrics: headcount, attrition, diversity, cost‑per‑hire, hiring velocity, and compliance status.
  • Own quarterly analytics for leadership—people costs, hiring ROI, performance trends, and retention data.
  • Partner with Finance for monthly headcount and payroll alignment.
🎯 Talent Acquisition & Screening
  • Optimize candidate pipelines and recruiter productivity; reduce time‑to‑hire to within a 30‑day SLA.
  • Manage ATS integrations (Workable/Bamboo

    HR), job board syncing, and candidate tracking accuracy.
  • Rationalize sourcing spend (e.g., Linked In Recruiter) and report on ROI by source.
  • Implement structured screening and video assessments for quality control before technical panels.
  • Ensure data hygiene and timely stage updates for all open roles.
💬 Culture & Engagement
  • Drive employer branding through updated career page, referral campaigns, and Linked In Life content.
  • Plan and execute engagement events, recognition programs, and quarterly culture themes.
  • Launch pulse surveys and track engagement vs. retention and performance KPIs.
  • Partner with Marketing to enhance internal storytelling and communications.
🏛️ Compliance & Policy
  • Own compliance and audits across all entities (Canada, U.S., India).
  • Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of regional labor laws, benefits, and severance practices.
  • Conduct internal audits on contracts, policy adherence, and HR documentation.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance for payroll reviews, tax documentation, and certifications (SOC2, ISO
    27001).
