Description
Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership team (SLT) across the organization, supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle. From talent acquisition and performance management to employee engagement and compliance, you will play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture and driving organizational success.
This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to influence and guide leaders while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Head office major intersections: Yonge Street and Bloor Street, Toronto (Onsite position)
Key Responsibilities- Partner with SLT to align HR strategies with organizational goals, focusing on workforce planning, staffing, and retention initiatives that support long-term organization growth.
- Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies and programs, ensuring compliance with provincial employment laws and regulations.
- Review and enhance performance management systems, ensuring they drive employees accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all clinics and departments.
- Create and manage employee training and development programs.
- Support competitive compensation and benefits planning, recommending initiatives to improve wellbeing, health, and safety to attract and retain top dental talent.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes, from sourcing and selection to creating a seamless candidate and onboarding experience.
- Handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
- Analyze HR metrics and organizational trends, using data to recommend initiatives that improve engagement and overall organizational health.
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience with HR certification.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP.
- Strong emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
- Expertise in recruitment, performance management, and total rewards planning.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting.
