Overview
Brandt is currently looking for a Pension & Benefits Manager. This position is on-site at the HR Office location in Regina, Saskatchewan to support a growing team. As a member of the Human Resource Management team, the Human Resources Manager - Pension & Benefits will participate in the development and execution of the organization's HR priorities and objectives and will coordinate and manage the company’s pension and benefit programs.
The role will ensure all programs and operations follow corporate compliance and accountability, focus on cost effectiveness for the company and participating employees, drive continuous program improvement, and enhance the overall employee experience with a focus on engagement and retention.
- Develop, implement and manage the pension and benefit programs and services for all groups across the Brandt network. Includes evaluation, market review, program design and administration.
- Develop operational procedures and workflow to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure benefit plans and adjudication processes are administered according to plan provisions and guidelines.
- Maintain benefit records by developing recordkeeping systems; prepare and distribute benefit reports.
- Carry out quality assurance reviews of benefits-related data to ensure accurate files.
- Support Ownership decision making by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs and opportunities.
- Develop and implement KPIs to facilitate service delivery and enhancements of processes and practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as they pertain to the pension and benefit programs. Assess the impact of regulatory changes and recommend/implement necessary modifications.
- Support Senior Management by providing senior specialized expertise and advice on programs; lead or participate in initiatives as directed, contributing expertise pertaining to areas of accountability.
- Manage reporting staff, including selection, development, coaching, performance management, assignment/review of work and other people management practices.
