Executive Search Recruiter – Aecon Group Inc.

We are looking for an experienced Executive Search Recruiter to lead and execute high‑impact searches for VP‑level and other mission‑critical roles across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive & Critical Role Search – Lead end‑to‑end searches for VP‑level and other highly specialized senior roles, partnering closely with executive leadership to define success profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Market Mapping & Talent Intelligence – Conduct deep market mapping and talent research, maintain long‑term relationships with senior‑level talent, and provide insights on availability, competitor landscapes, and compensation trends.
  • Search Strategy – Design customized search strategies, advise leaders on hiring decisions, trade‑offs, and timelines, and influence role design and organizational structure when necessary.
  • Assessment & Candidate Experience – Conduct in‑depth executive interviews and assessments, ensure a high‑touch, best‑in‑class experience, and guide candidates through complex decision‑making processes.
  • Collaboration & Process Excellence – Partner with Talent Partners and HR leadership to align executive hiring with overall talent strategy, and evolve recruiting best practices, tools, and processes.
Required Knowledge & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in executive recruiting or executive search (in‑house, search firm, or hybrid).
  • Proven success leading VP‑level and senior leadership searches with deep expertise and ownership of complex hiring efforts.
  • Deep experience in market mapping, talent research, and passive candidate engagement.
  • Strong executive presence, influence ability, and high level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism.
  • Excellent consulting, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
