Job Description
Our client is looking for a HRIS Analyst to join their team for a 18 month contract. This is a hybrid role (in office 3 days a week).
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HRIS Analyst will play a key role in the successful implementation of a new HRIS platform. This position will be responsible for gathering system requirements, configuring the platform, guiding internal stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, conducting testing, and supporting organization-wide adoption.
The HRIS Analyst will collaborate closely with the implementation team, managers, and program leaders across various departments. Additionally, this role will support a range of HR functions, including preparing reports, contributing to HR projects, and maintaining accurate employee records and files.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with HR and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze detailed business and system requirements.
Ensure system configurations align with current HR policies and support key processes such as compensation reviews, performance management, onboarding, and recruitment.
Collaborate with the ERP team to configure workflows, user roles, permissions, and system integrations to meet organizational needs.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate functional and technical system requirements.
Participate in data validation and system testing prior to system launch.
Create and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones; monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure successful outcomes.
Identify, track, and resolve issues or defects uncovered during testing phases.
Develop or refine user guides and internal documentation to support effective system usage.
Deliver training and provide ongoing support to end-users to promote successful system adoption.
Monitor system performance post-launch, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements to support continuous improvement.
Provide ongoing system maintenance, including updates and configuration changes as needed.
Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, business processes, and technical procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS implementation, configuration, and support
Proven experience managing and configuring HRIS platforms
Solid understanding of core HR processes and systems
Proficiency with HRIS software such as Workday, SAP Success Factors, or Oracle HCM
Ability to effectively train and support non-technical users and stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
