Position Overview: As the HR Manager, you will have ownership of the Human Resources function, partnering closely with the General Manager to support operational goals and workforce initiatives. You will bring consistency and accountability to many areas of HR — from employee relations and compliance to talent development and recruitment.
This role is ideal for a growing HR professional who is confident operating independently, comfortable advising leadership, and highly capable in a hands-on production environment. This is an on-site position requiring visibility, presence, and strong relationship-building across the organization. As the HR Manager, you will enjoy:
- Compensation of $85 - $100K, commensurate with experience.

- Leading the overall HR function and aligning people initiatives with business objectives.
- Advising senior leadership and managers on employee relations matters.
- Overseeing and mentoring a Payroll/HR support staff member.
- Executing talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Overseeing onboarding and training initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with employment standards, human rights legislation, and company policies.
- Managing compensation programs and indirectly overseeing benefits administration and payroll.
- Administering performance management programs.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and strengthening workplace culture.
- Executing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational growth.
- Overseeing return-to-work programs.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- A bachelor’s degree (CHRP designation an asset).
- Demonstrated experience advising management.
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Experience leading tactical recruitment programs.
- Familiarity with payroll oversight and HRIS systems.
- Strong business acumen a definite asset.
- Exceptional organizational, administrative, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A confident, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
