We’re looking for a Recruitment & Talent Manager to spearhead our staffing operations, ensuring excellence in recruitment, training, and management.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Role Overview :

As the Recruitment & Talent Manager
, you will oversee the staffing department for the entirety of House of XM, responsible for sourcing, managing, and developing brand ambassadors (BA’s) and field staff across the US and Canada. You’ll also be working closely with our management team on supporting the screening and onboarding process for seasonal contract positions. This role is vital for ensuring our staffing strategy aligns with company goals and client needs while fostering a vibrant and engaged community of team members.

Key

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Build and implement tools, resources, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline staffing processes.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for scaling the staffing department across Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish, update, and refine policies for field teams, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
  • Stay informed about shifts, compensation scales, and innovations in experiential marketing staffing to keep the agency competitive.
  • Implement and continuously monitor KPIs such as time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and Brand Ambassador (BA) retention rates to provide data-driven insights for strategic staffing adjustments and performance improvement.
  • Report bi-weekly to company owners, providing updates on milestones and adjusting strategies as needed.
Recruitment & Development:
  • Conduct thorough interviews and vetting processes to assess candidates’ experience, cultural fit, and on-the-ground judgment, ensuring a high-quality talent pool ready for activation.
  • Recruit BAs with comprehensive profiles tailored to client and campaign needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify ideal casting profiles for campaigns.
  • Organize recruitment events and participate in career events at college and university campuses, and industry-specific gatherings to attract top talent.
  • Travel across Canada and the US to recruit for key roles, focusing on areas where programs require significant staffing efforts.
  • Facilitate recruitment efforts that align with the agency’s commitment to quality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Establish a feedback loop for continuous improvement of staff performance.
Operations & Compliance:
  • Handle compliance tasks, including field staff payroll and communication with the finance team.
  • Travel across Canada and the US to conduct site checks at activations to ensure staffing meets company standards and expectations.
Talent Management:
  • Foster an engaging IRL and online community for BAs, including a rewards model and newsletters.
  • Create ongoing communication and campaign flows to maintain staff engagement and loyalty.
  • Capture and create engaging content to showcase the team and activations on social media.
  • Strategically post job opportunities and gig offers on social platforms to attract top talent.
  • Develop campaigns that highlight the experiences and stories of our BAs, fostering a sense of pride and connection.
  • Develop a sense of connection and pride among BAs in representing House of XM.
Experience &

Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in staffing, talent management, or HR, preferably in experiential marketing.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing operational tools and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for community building.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
