Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

As a Senior Consultant, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), you have the opportunity to create meaningful change by working on multiple areas within DEI that are of interest to you, while advancing Intact’s DEI objectives. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and work side-by-side with a small, but mighty team of experts in the field. You have the opportunity to lead the planning and implementation of impactful DEI projects and partner closely with your team, HR business partners and leadership, and employee champions.
This is a temporary secondment/contract employment opportunity for an approximate 12-month duration.
What you’ll do here:
Provide expertise and act as an advisor in matters related to DEI
Nurture Intact’s DEI vision by providing insights and coaching as well as data, analytics, and content
Drive DEI initiatives and action plans as well as develop resources and tools to advance our DEI goals
Implement, deliver, execute communication / processes / systems to remove barriers impacting equity-deserving groups
Support employee relations as well as initiatives geared to under-represented talent that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at Intact
Partner with HR, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and Business Partners to operationalize, communicate and promote our efforts
Benchmark best practices and collect/analyze organizational metrics to identify opportunities to strengthening DEI across Intact
Network with external companies and partners to stay current with best practices that will help drive new programs, enhancements, and initiatives
What you bring to the table :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (Business Administration, Human Resources etc.) is preferred
3 or more years’ experience in DEI with an understanding of principles and best practices
Strong Experience leading projects and change management
Strong Knowledge of societal inequities at different levels and their impact within the workplace
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to build impactful presentations for business and HR audiences
An aptitude to aggregate and validate data and develop insights for business stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An inspiring team player with a collaborative working style
Can work with precision in a fast-paced setting
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (English/French) is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
For candidates located in Ontario, bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
