Business Analyst, Global HRSD & HR Technology Enablement


Project: Service Now HRSD implementation project –enabling HRSD –migrating existing tools to Service Now HRSD models - at starting phase of project. As a Business Analyst in Global HR Product Technology Enablement, you play a pivotal role in the implementation, enhancement, and governance of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions—such as Service Now HRSD, HR portals, case management, knowledge management, and related HR technologies.

Typical Day in Role:
1. Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis

• Completes business analysis and consults with business sponsors/stakeholders to explore, assess, and recommend business solutions.

• Assists with the development of strategies, recommendations, including business benefits and costs, implementation, training and change management strategies.

• Day to Day management of internal applications used by employees with the aim of maximizing a sustained benefit from strategic initiatives. As part of the team, you will:
o Create, maintain a detailed prioritized product backlog.
o Engage with Agile teams writing and clarifying user stories, participating in delivery planning and review, backlog grooming and prioritization.

• Conduct root cause analysis, gap assessments, and define future-state processes to support HRSD and HR systems.
2. HRSD & HR Technology Implementation

• Support end-to-end HRSD implementation and ongoing enhancement (e.G., Case Management, Knowledge, Workflows).

• Collaborate with architects, developers, Agile teams, and vendors during design, build, and testing.

• Validate configuration, support defect triage, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• Support integrations with HRIS (e.G., Success Factors), identity management, and other enterprise systems.

• Execute UAT, regression, and end-to-end test plans;document defects and support resolution.
3. Product Management & Agile Delivery

• Manage and maintain a prioritized product backlog for HR applications and HRSD capabilities.

• Write and refine user stories, participate in sprint planning, grooming, review, and retrospectives.

• Day-to-day management of internal HR applications used by employees, ensuring they provide sustained business value.
4. Process Design & Operational Improvement

• Assess end-to-end HR workflows and identify opportunities for automation and digital improvement.

• Define system requirements for enhancements or new features across HR platforms.

• Support the implementation of operational effectiveness plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Change Management, Training & Communication

• Collaborate on the preparation of training materials, user documentation, and communication plans to support technology rollouts.

• Lead or support stakeholder engagement sessions to ensure readiness for new or enhanced HR tools.

• Champion a customer-focused culture and help drive adoption of HR technology across the organization.
6. Governance, Controls & Stakeholder Alignment

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, risk appetite, data governance, and regulatory obligations.

• Present analysis, recommendations, and updates to senior leaders and cross-functional committees.

• Build strong relationships across Global HR and Technology to ensure alignment and coordinated delivery.
