Main Activities!

  • Recruitment - 85%
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment for our high-volume administrative hires, including:
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to understand their hiring objectives and develop recruiting tactics to hit headcount goals for our administrative and high-volume role portfolio
  • Identify and implement strategic sourcing plans by creatively conducting research and utilizing a multitude of resources.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality and holistic candidate experience
  • Foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns. Serve as a skilled problem solver, facilitator and coach in final negotiations
  • Resume screen, phone screen, conduct interviews, administer aptitude tests, conduct background checks, and manage the details related to employment offers, and closing of your roles
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of job requisition / description for required competencies, skills, knowledge required for successful candidates
  • Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Equitable Bank’s recruiting initiatives
  • Consult with hiring teams regarding the initial strategy discussion, updates on candidate activity and pipeline, sharing relevant talent/employer market data, and competitive intelligence
  • Generate a group of strongly qualified candidates in advance of need; creating a talent pipeline for the Bank of passive candidates. Ensures actions to source, attract, and recruit diverse talent are consistently embedded in sourcing strategies
  • Work with external agencies that assist people with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples, and other employment equity initiatives
  • Consult with the business to educate and train on best practices on networking and sharing of career opportunities
  • Effectively utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage all aspects of the hiring process and keep the ATS up to date to allow for consistent metrics to be produced monthly
  • Project Work and Implementation – 10%
  • Provide market research to support candidate and geographic profiling to guide recruiting
  • Construct thorough sourcing reports to assist the team in recognizing practical sourcing channels
  • Keep up to date with all Employment law legislations on hiring practices
  • Communicate with managers and employees to support the employee referral process
  • Carry out the bank’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as part of our recruiting strategies
  • Attend various career fairs to promote and educate job seekers about Equitable Bank’s employer brand and career opportunities
  • Contribute to various Talent Acquisition and HR projects as required
  • Training – 5%
  • Provide managers with interview skills training, as needed
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures

  • Minimum 4 years of high-volume recruitment experience
    , hiring for administrative and servicing roles
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong communication in French and English is mandatory
  • Results driven with proven experience sourcing top talent at scale
  • Proven abilities to source passive candidates and build diverse pipelines
  • Experience using Lever applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • An active and data driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better your process to make it more efficient
  • A passion for delivering exceptional candidate experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
  • Adept in Boolean Search
  • In-depth experience in conducting internet research, including sourcing candidates through social media and other channels
  • Abreast with the Canada Labour Code and all Canadian employment regulations in relation to recruitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • An interest in working in a cross-functional and fluid environment, the ability to learn quickly, and adopt
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatel
