Description

Take on a new challenge and apply your knowledge in expatriate management and international mobility in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and culturally diverse teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination of international mobility processes, supporting employees and stakeholders in navigating the complexities of global assignments. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (HR, managers, external vendors), validate immigration assessments, and coordinate relocation and tax processes, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of managing international assignment and contracts, but also organizing briefings and ensuring compliance with international mobility policies and immigration regulations.

Pay Rate: 90K-100K DOE

Toronto

Duration: 12-month contract
Schedule: 4 days on-site!

We'll look to you for:

  • Managing individual files related to international mobility
  • Coordinating actions required for immigration in Canada aligned with project needs
  • Validating immigration assessments, paperwork, and supporting Permanent Residency processes with stakeholders
  • Be the main point of contact for employees on international mobility / immigration matter
  • Providing data and cost estimations to managers and HR before assingment
  • Contributing to packages/contracts presentation to employees, including hypothetical taxes
  • Participating in briefing calls with employees, managers, and HR
  • Coordinating relocation, immigration, and tax processes with external vendors
  • Preparing secondment/recharge agreements and managing the recharge process
  • Updating calculations, salary reviews, and preparing tax reconciliations on an annual basis
  • Reconciliating invoices from vendors with project to ensure timely cost allocation
  • Legal review and briefing to HR team in case of changes/updates, anticipating risks/opportunities
  • Support any additional tasks as required

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in HR or similar field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an international mobility coordinator
  • First experience in expatriate management (as HRBP or IM Specialist)
  • Knowledge of Canadian Immigration legislation preferred
  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including tact and diplomacy
  • Capacity to listen and understand individual and business needs
  • Ability to influence and convince stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • People-oriented with the ability to navigate cultural differences
  • Proven ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability and willingness to attend calls across different time zones
  • On-site presence: 4 days / week
