Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON
Schedule: Full-Time (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $86,000.00
We are seeking a natural hunter, strong negotiator, and confident closer to attract healthcare professionals who support our hospital partners across Canada with a focus on Ontario and Nova Scotia. In this high‑impact role, you’ll lead full‑cycle recruitment for nurses, personal support workers, and other key healthcare providers, using advanced headhunting and sourcing strategies to engage passive and hard‑to‑find talent. WhatYou’ll Do Own the Full Recruitment Cycle
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for critical healthcare roles including Registered Nurses, RPNs/LPNs, Personal Support Workers, and Patient Observers.
- Identify passive and niche talent through targeted outreach, talent mapping, and industry intelligence.
- Build strategic relationships with clinical professionals across multiple regions.
- Convert interest into commitment by helping the right people find meaningful work.
- Maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for high-volume and urgent requests.
- Cultivate relationships with schools, community partners, and healthcare associations.
- Enhance Carecor’s presence through targeted digital campaigns and social sourcing tactics.
- Manage requisitions, candidate workflow, and postings in our ATS.
- Provide market insights and recommendations for hiring stakeholders.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.
We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and fearless in the pursuit of great talent.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare, staffing, or another high-volume environment.
- Strong headhunting expertise where you are energized by the challenge of finding and engaging passive candidates.
- Advanced negotiation and closing abilities, with a track record of influencing tough‑to‑move talent.
- Proficiency with Linked In Recruiter, digital sourcing tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and consultative skills.
- HR or related degree/diploma preferred.
