Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist - Bilingual (FR/EN)

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong headhunting expertise to join our dynamic HR team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong sense of initiative, enthusiasm, and excellent attention to detail. As this role requires close collaboration with various internal stakeholders, the successful candidate must also possess excellent communication skills (French and English) and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal partners and candidates.

This position is ideal for someone who is independent, organized, proactive, and motivated to have a direct impact on the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead headhunting mandates for all positions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in drafting and posting job openings on career sites, job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Actively source candidates through direct approach (headhunting) and recruitment tools.
  • Conduct pre-screenings, interviews, and initial candidate assessments to ensure alignment with both company culture and role requirements.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including integration activities, to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (e.g., time to hire, source of applications, time to fill) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Make recommendations to improve recruitment processes based on data analysis.
  • Contribute to employee retention strategies through effective onboarding and ongoing engagement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of drafting and distributing all internal HR communications, ensuring company policies, updates, and programs are clearly and effectively communicated across the organization.
Desired Profile
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) — required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in specialized recruitment or executive search.
  • Proven experience in proactive sourcing (headhunting).
  • Ability to effectively promote roles and the organization to top talent.
  • Strong candidate assessment skills, including interview structuring, test administration, and cultural fit evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Strong time and priority management skills.
  • High level of administrative rigor and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working with:
  • Recruitment ATS / CRM systems
  • Collaboration tools and MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Recruitment data analysis (timelines, success rates)
