This position is a new vacancy.

As the HR Generalist, reporting to the AVP, Total Rewards & People Experience, you will be responsible for the independent support and execution of core HR operations. This includes supporting the employee lifecycle from benefits and retirement administration, payroll coordination, employee inquiries, HRIS data integrity, to policy implementation. You will also provide support to senior stakeholders, identify process improvements and operational risks.

This role operates in a highly visible, fast‑paced corporate environment requiring sound judgement and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage non-executive recruitment lifecycle coordination, including intake, screening, interviewing, and offer letter preparation
  • Process employment changes, and maintain accurate, confidential, and audit‑ready employee records within Success Factors and ADP ensuring compliance requirements are consistently met
  • Coordinate onboarding, and offboarding logistics as well as deliver new hire orientation
  • Act as primary contact for employee benefits and retirement savings program inquiries, and other HR related inquiries while providing guidance on internal policies, HR processes, and employment legislation
  • Coordinate employee benefits and retirement savings program enrollments, changes, and communications with external vendors
  • Manage high‑touch payroll coordination, including validation of employee changes, answering employee inquiries, and working with the payroll specialist to ensure accuracy
  • Identify recurring themes, behavioural trends, inefficiencies, or operational risks and implement practical improvements to strengthen HR service delivery
  • Exercise sound judgment when navigating sensitive or time‑sensitive situations, escalating to the AVP, Total Rewards & People Experience as appropriate
  • Maintain high standards of HR data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Develop and maintain documentation, templates, and process guides
  • Prepare routine HR reports and support ad hoc information requests
  • Support execution of evolving HR initiatives and program updates

What we pay $80,000.00 -$

Qualifications
  • 4‑6 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
  • Experience administering benefits and retirement savings programs
  • Effective analytical and problem‑solving capabilities

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong professional maturity and discretion
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, Success Factors & ADP experience is preferred
  • Exposure to payroll coordination or payroll processes, is preferred
  • CHRP or CHRL designation, or actively pursing is preferred
