Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Bank Recruiter for a 12-month contract based in Toronto, ON. This role supports Banking recruitment operations and plays a critical part in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent that supports the Company's purpose of "Making Life in Canada Better." The role requires being onsite 4 days per week.
Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate job requisitions, handling multiple positions simultaneously in a high-volume environment
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle: pipelining top talent, sourcing passive and active prospects, screening applicants, presenting candidates to hiring managers, coordinating and conducting interviews, advising on candidate selection, extending and negotiating offers, and managing administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, candidates, and subject‑matter experts
- Set expectations clearly and develop strong recruitment strategies and talent recommendations
- Efficiently manage the recruitment process using Workday ATS to ensure accurate recruitment metrics
- Utilize recruitment tools such as Workday, Linked In Recruiter, Indeed Database, and others to drive activities and strategies
- Participate in and support special projects in collaboration with HR Ops, Workday Architecture, and other stakeholders
- 2–4+ years of corporate high‑volume recruitment experience, including Banking recruitment experience; agency experience considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high‑volume desk with multiple job requisitions simultaneously at various recruitment stages
- Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment and building excellent relationships with stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to act as a brand ambassador
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems/HRIS systems and various recruitment sourcing tools;
Workday experience a strong asset
Compensation: $27.00–$36.00/hr typical hiring range; broadband up to $45.00/hr benefits include career growth opportunities, product discounts, Triangle Learning Academy access, Canadian Tire Profit Sharing, retirement and savings programs, and up to $5,000/year in mental health benefits.
2–4+ years of corporate high‑volume recruitment experience including Banking recruitment; full‑cycle recruiting experience; experience with Workday ATS and Linked In Recruiter; strong stakeholder relationship skills
