Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with deep expertise in leading end-to-end hiring across functions, levels, and global markets. Brings strong market intelligence, a proactive advisory approach, and a sense of urgency to deliver high‑caliber talent for complex, hard‑to‑fill roles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across functions, levels, and global markets, translating business needs into targeted search strategies for complex, hard‑to‑fill roles.
- Develop and implement proactive talent sourcing strategies, leveraging deep market insights, industry networks, and advanced sourcing methodologies.
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and senior leadership, providing data‑driven market trend, compensation and talent availability insights.
- Foster strong relationships with passive and active candidates to provide a high‑touch recruitment experience.
- Promote Partner Re’s employer brand across the reinsurance market using social networks, industry events and partnerships.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to design and refine DEI‑focused hiring strategies.
- Oversee and enhance the candidate assessment and selection process to align with business needs and long‑term talent goals.
- Utilize and optimize recruitment technologies (Linked In Recruiter) and ATS platform (Success Factors) and data analytics to drive hiring efficiency.
- Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT) to improve sourcing, screening and stakeholder communication.
- Mentor junior TA team members to foster a culture of excellence.
- Deep industry knowledge of reinsurance/insurance hiring needs, market dynamics and talent landscapes.
- Expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent using innovative attraction strategies, social media, AI tools and market intelligence.
- Strong understanding of global talent trends, compensation benchmarks and competitive intelligence within financial services and reinsurance.
- Passion for employer branding, talent marketing and DEI recruitment initiatives.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and proactive drive to understand business priorities and evolving talent needs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- 7+ years of full‑cycle recruitment experience, ideally within reinsurance, insurance, financial services or a related industry.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions with a consultative approach and delivering high‑quality, timely hires.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and partner with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite executives.
- Hands‑on experience with ATS platforms, HR analytics tools and recruitment automation.
- Experience with SAP Success Factors is a bonus.
- Experience in global searches covering multiple locations is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
Hybrid approach: employees are required to work in the office 3 days a week and can work remotely on other days.
Compensation and BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this position, when hired into our Toronto location, is CAD $117,000‑143,000 per year. Eligible employees may participate in our annual incentive program and benefit from medical, dental and vision coverage, a health spending account, a defined contribution pension plan, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability coverage, and more.
