The Career Foundation seeks an Employer Engagement and Placement Specialist to develop employer connections and facilitate successful job placements across various sectors. The role requires two years of experience in employer engagement, job development, or community outreach. You will collaborate closely with Career Success Coaches to ensure job readiness and employer alignment to achieve target placements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with employers for placement opportunities
• Conduct targeted employer outreach through networking and presentations
• Identify labour-market trends to inform placement strategies
• Organise hiring fairs and recruitment events
• Monitor placements to support retention and address challenges
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Business or related fields
• Two years of experience in employer engagement or job development
• Valid Ontario G driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High emotional intelligence and customer service abilities
