This role within the Career and Youth Services division is designed for professionals passionate about connecting skilled job seekers with fulfilling employment opportunities. You will maintain ongoing relationships with employers while providing them with the support necessary to integrate internationally trained professionals into their workforce. Your contributions will include personalized support for participants, as well as developing comprehensive training schedules for effective job placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain new employer connections
• Offer guidance to employers in hiring IEHPs
• Customize training schedules for participants and employers
• Facilitate mock interviews to prepare job seekers
• Provide ongoing mentorship and job maintenance support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area
• 2+ years of experience in social services or employment
• Understanding of career counseling
• Knowledge of labor market dynamics in Ontario
• CCDP certification or equivalent plan to obtain
