As a core member of the HR team in Toronto, you will manage payroll and support various HR functions for approximately 315 employees. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution while fostering strong relationships. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead payroll for salaried and hourly employees
• Manage employee benefits and wellness programs
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities
• Support HRIS and payroll system improvements
• Provide employee relations coaching to leaders
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
• Certification in Payroll Compliance Practitioner or Certified Payroll Manager
• Minimum ten years of HR and Payroll experience
• Strong labor relations experience in unionized settings
• Knowledge of employment and payroll legislation
