Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of recruitment professionals, fostering a performance-driven culture focused on attracting and developing top talent pipelines.
- Build targeted and diverse talent pipelines across multiple channels (e.g., social, passive sourcing, referrals, alumni).
- Actively manage a portfolio of complex searches, applying best-in-class sourcing and assessment strategies.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver strategic talent consultation, including workforce planning, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise stakeholders, influencing hiring strategies and aligning on priorities.
- Promote and enhance employer branding through engagement with industry groups, networks, and external partners.
- Deliver a high-quality hiring manager and candidate experience across the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Leverage recruitment data, metrics, and technology to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by staying current on market trends, talent insights, and leading practices in talent acquisition.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies and business plans that optimize resources and drive efficiency at scale.
- Monitor, evaluate, and communicate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, adjusting tactics to meet business objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Lead or contribute to enterprise initiatives, representing Talent Acquisition as a strategic partner across the organization.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with partners across HR, Technology, Finance, and Risk Management.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of recruitment leaders, aligning capabilities with enterprise needs and future skills.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and deliver results against business requirements.
- Create an inclusive, high-performing culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet business priorities and timelines; act as a brand ambassador for TD both internally and externally.
- Lead a large and/or complex Talent Acquisition function and collaborate across functions to deliver enterprise priorities.
- Focus on longer-term planning (12+ months) to ensure sustainable talent outcomes.
- Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree considered an asset.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or related field.
- Proven experience leading high-performing teams in a complex, enterprise environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate at senior leadership levels.
- Deep understanding of recruitment strategy, sourcing methodologies, and talent market dynamics.
- Experience leveraging data, metrics, and technology to drive decision-making and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, compliance, and operational excellence.
