LOFT Community Services is seeking a Labour Relations Specialist in Toronto with a focus on strategy and grievance resolution. This hybrid position aims to enhance employee-labor relations throughout the organization.
You will act as an advisor on collective agreements, engage in collective bargaining, and lead grievance resolution initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact the employee experience, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported at LOFT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer strategic advice on labor relations and agreements
• Participate in collective bargaining and documentation processes
• Ensure fair grievance handling and dispute resolution
• Keep accurate records of labor relations activities
• Analyze labor data to identify trends and risks
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Labour Relations or HR
• At least 2 years of labor relations experience
• Familiarity with Ontario labor laws
• Experience with HRIS and labor tracking tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
