Join our Public Sector Client as a Total Rewards Specialist in Pickering, ON (Hybrid).
Your role will focus on optimizing compensation and benefits programs to attract top talent.
This role spans a 6-month contract and requires you to partner with HR and leadership teams to design effective compensation and benefit strategies. You'll also manage annual compensation cycles and ensure compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the public sector with strong analytical and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage annual salary reviews and merit increases
• Implement compensation structures and incentive plans
• Conduct pay equity reviews and market analysis
• Develop communication materials for total compensation
• Enhance benefits programs and wellness initiatives
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in HR or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience
• 3 years in compensation and total rewards
• Familiarity with Canadian public sector compensation
• Excellent project management skills
