The Role
Ashby is looking for a Technical Recruiter who can source and hire top technical talent across a variety of domains including engineering, product design, product management, IT, security, QA, and data. The role requires a relationship builder able to partner with stakeholders, manage multiple searches, and create a repeatable recruitment process.
Responsibilities- Coach first‑time hiring managers on building exceptional recruitment processes.
- Conduct deep market mapping and analysis to forecast talent pipelines.
- Partner directly with VP/founder‑level leaders to extract key hiring information efficiently.
- Balance periods of managing multiple roles across domains with deep dives into single positions.
- Proven track record as an engineering recruiter in a product‑led SaaS company with exposure to other technical roles.
- Significant experience in technical hiring for senior‑level roles.
- Autonomous end‑to‑end search ownership with a data‑driven mindset.
- High talent bar with a nuanced ability to distinguish top candidates.
- Experience creating innovative sourcing strategies beyond inbound and referrals.
- Comfortable working with limited staffing and high volume of candidate contact after initial stages.
- Developing high‑quality hiring processes at scale.
- Strategizing creative ways to accelerate hiring and evaluate candidates.
- Scaling recruiting functions with a focus on 2–5× growth.
- Being part of a documentation‑first culture and communicating through long‑form writing.
- Influencing the TA space as an internal product tester, sales and marketing resource, and demoing features to prospects.
- Using analytics to discover insights and improve processes.
