Talent Attraction Specialist
Our Talent Attraction team is growing, and we’re looking for a Talent Attraction Specialist who’s eager to help bring our strategy to life and find talent inspired to join us in powering Canadian commerce.
In this role, you’ll help shape how talent discovers, connects with, and chooses Moneris through proactive sourcing and creative outreach. You’ll build talent pipelines across a variety of roles while supporting hiring events, early talent programs, and employer brand initiatives that use storytelling to bring our employee value proposition to life.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, a strong communicator, and energized by connecting with people. We’re open to someone early in their talent attraction journey or who brings transferable experience from sales or marketing roles. You have some experience using sourcing tools and are comfortable leveraging AI in your day‑to‑day work. You’re eager to learn, try new ideas, and contribute to content and events that highlight what makes Moneris a great place to work.

Location:
You will be based in Toronto and will work in a hybrid model (3 days on‑site).
Reporting Relationship:
You will report to the Manager, Talent Attraction and Employer Brand.
Salary Range:
The expected base salary range for this role is $53,000–$75,000. Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and HRBPs to support sourcing strategies aligned to workforce demand, including high‑volume (class hiring) and specialized roles.
- Proactively source and execute outreach campaigns by skill, geography, and talent segment, including diverse pipelines, using Workday (ATS), Linked In Recruiter, and other tools to attract targeted talent pipelines.
- Engage and nurture passive candidates through personalized messaging, drip campaigns, and talent community initiatives (e.g., newsletters and events) while conducting initial candidate qualification.
- Track and report on sourcing activity, pipeline health, and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to optimize outreach and engagement strategies.
- Monitor talent market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights to inform sourcing approaches and broader talent strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with external talent partners, including post‑secondary institutions, community organizations, and industry groups, while supporting hiring events and employer brand activations.
- Lead the coordination and execution of early talent programs and strategy, including campus engagement, internships, and student hiring.
- Support the Manager, Talent Attraction and Employer Brand in executing key programs and initiatives that bring the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to life, including the employee spotlight program, events, hiring manager training, and internal communications.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business, Human Resources, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
- 1–3 years of experience in talent attraction, recruitment, sales, or marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and engage candidates or prospects using sourcing tools such as Linked In Recruiter, an ATS, or comparable tools in a sales or outreach capacity.
- Familiarity with sourcing or outreach techniques, including messaging, search strategies, and building pipelines of candidates or prospects.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data such as pipeline metrics and outreach performance to identify insights and improve sourcing effectiveness.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to share insights and influence stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, HR, and business teams.
- Experience supporting technical recruitment, including software development and engineering roles.
- Experience using Workday to build candidate pools, recruitment campaigns and landing pages.
- Experience with basic graphic design using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
