This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and dynamic lawyer with excellent people skills and a great team spirit to join our Talent Management team in Toronto as the Director, Articling Student Programs. Working with the Talent Management Directors, the Students Committee and other members of firm management, the successful candidate will have responsibility for our articling students' career development and engagement.

This role also assists with student recruitment, professional development programs for our legal professionals and other Talent Management special projects. In this role, you will have exposure to the Associate Programs and over time, have the opportunity to work closely with different groups of timekeepers at the Firm. We offer a tremendous team environment with an emphasis on collaboration and service excellence as well as a strong commitment as a firm to our students.

Location:
Toronto Office

The successful candidate will have:

• a law degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;

• excellent academic credentials;

• at least 6 years of experience practicing or in talent management at a large law firm;

• outstanding interpersonal skills, communication skills and judgement;

• excellent written and oral presentation skills; and

• the ability to lead large projects, handle multiple priorities, and problem-solve effectively and diplomatically as well as a strong interest and aptitude, in mentoring and training others.
