Human Resources Business Partner
Onsite – 75 Eglinton Ave East, Toronto, Ontario
As an onsite Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide day-to
- day HR guidance and support to leaders and operations teams. You will partner with leaders on employee-related matters, support HR programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and help maintain a safe and healthy work environment. You will also work closely with the broader HR team, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, HR Specialists,
Training, and the HR Helpdesk, to answer employee questions, support timely issue resolution, and provide clear, consistent guidance.
This onsite role operates within a matrix reporting structure, supporting Operations in
partnership with the HR Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a visible onsite HR partner and build trusted relationships with employees,leaders and corporate support teams.Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing timelyguidance to resolve workplace concerns /grievances and foster a fair, supportive,and compliant workplace culture.Work closely with local stakeholders, employees, managers, partner organizationand others in the business unit to fully understand local needs (of the client, lineof business, local requirements) and create targeted and specific peoplesupport plans.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, HR Specialists,Training and the HR Helpdesk team to resolve employee matters appropriatelyand efficiently.Support the delivery of HR programs and initiatives that strengthen employeeengagement, retention, and the overall employee experience.Partner with leaders during organizational changes, new program launches,ramp-ups, reductions, schedule changes, and other business transitions.Serve as an onsite Health and Safety representative, supporting workplacesafety practices, incident follow-up, and related employee guidance.Provide real-time HR support for urgent site matters, escalating issues asappropriate and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and site-level initiatives thatimprove HR service delivery and operational effectiveness.Qualifications
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relatedfield. CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.At least seven (7+) years of progressive HR experience within a fast pacedworking environment.Proven experience in an HR role that partnered with the business anddemonstrated ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.Strong knowledge of provincial employment law and regulatory bodiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsEmployee Relations and Labour Relations experienceFluent in English. Bilingual French/English an assetSolid knowledge of Google Workspace tools (Sheets , Slides , docs etc.)Experience with Workday is preferredMust produce documentation verifying eligibility to work in CanadaMust be able to work 100% onsite at our Toronto officeDiversity, Equity & Inclusion
