Position: Senior Payroll Manager for High-Volume Payrolls
Join our client's team in Markham as a Senior Payroll Manager, where you'll manage high-volume payroll processing in a hybrid work setting. This permanent role comes with bonuses, benefits, and RRSP matching.

Ideal candidates will have a robust payroll management background, particularly in processing payroll for 2,000+ employees. You will lead the payroll team, ensuring compliance with both union and multi-provincial regulations.

Your role involves continuous improvement of payroll processes while managing audits and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct payroll operations and team development

• Ensure accuracy in payroll processing for diverse employee agreements

• Manage compliance and remittances to various authorities

• Oversee year-end payroll audits and reporting requirements

• Consult with Operations, Finance, and HR on payroll issues

Requirements:

• 8+ years in payroll management in complex settings

• In-depth knowledge of applicable legislation

• Proven track record with collective agreements

• Experience with high-volume payroll environments
