Humber River Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to enhance its Human Resources Team. In this full-time role, you will report to the Director of Employee and Labour Relations, providing guidance on HR and labor relations matters. Key responsibilities involve advising leadership, managing employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted advisor to client groups
• Ensure accurate application of HR policies and legislation
• Manage complex grievance processes and investigations
• Liaise with union representatives for effective communication
• Attend arbitration and collective bargaining sessions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in HR Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years in a unionized HR environment
• CHRL certification an asset
• Extensive knowledge of employment law and labor relations
• Strong skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
