About the OpportunityAre you a hands‑on HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong relationships across an organization? We are partnering with a well‑established manufacturing organization to hire an experienced HR Manager who will lead the full employee lifecycle while serving as the primary HR resource for both corporate and manufacturing teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a standalone HR environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership, support approximately 200 employees across two nearby locations, and play a key role in fostering a positive, compliant, and people‑focused workplace.
Whats In It for You- Join a stable and established manufacturing organization with a collaborative, people‑first culture.
- Take ownership of the full HR function with the autonomy to influence programs and processes.
- Partner directly with senior leadership on meaningful employee and business initiatives.
- Receive a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, a strong pension program, and three weeks of vacation.
- Enjoy a workplace that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development.
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, workplace accommodations, performance management, terminations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and support managers throughout the hiring process.
- Oversee benefits and pension administration while acting as the primary HR resource for employee inquiries.
- Support Health & Safety initiatives, manage WSIB claims, participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee, and ensure legislative compliance.
- Maintain and update HR policies, develop training initiatives, prepare HR reports and metrics, and identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or operational environment.
- Experience managing employee relations, workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, WSIB claims management, and Joint Health & Safety Committee participation.
- Experience with full‑cycle recruitment, benefits and pension administration, and HR policy development.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with compensation benchmarking would be considered a strong asset.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being involved in every aspect of HR and takes pride in building trusted relationships across the business. This is a role for someone who is proactive, independent, and excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
