Pension and Strategic Director

Position: Pension and Benefits Strategic Director
Transform pension and benefits management as the Strategic Director at The Presbyterian Church in Canada. This hybrid role requires visionary leadership and collaboration for operational success.

As the director, you will partner with the Chief Financial Officer and boards to ensure effective delivery of pension, benefits, and HR services. Your focus will be on compliance, policy implementation, and enhancing organizational capacity within the church.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pension and benefits plans, ensuring regulatory compliance

• Provide strategic oversight of HR and payroll functions

• Facilitate onboarding and training of Pension and Benefits Board members

• Analyze benefits utilization and recommend improvements

• Serve as an advisor for governance and decision-making support

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role, HR-focused

• Degree in HR Management, Business, or a related field

• Professional designations such as CHRL/CHRP required

• Strong knowledge of employment and pension legislation

• Criminal Records Check - Vulnerable Sector
