Head of Rewards

Lead the rewards strategy at Munich Re in Toronto, Canada, ensuring competitive compensation and benefits programs. Collaborate closely with teams to align strategies with business needs and local compliance.

As the Head of Rewards, you will execute Munich Re’s rewards strategy within the region, reporting to the Regional Head of HR. This senior role requires overseeing salary structures, managing annual compensation processes, and ensuring compliance with regional labor laws. You will work closely with HRBPs, Finance, and the Global Payroll team to ensure effective implementation and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement global rewards strategies

• Oversee job grading and salary structure analysis

• Manage annual compensation cycles and benefits programs

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align compensation strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of seven years in rewards leadership

• Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance

• Expertise in job evaluation and benchmarking

• Experience managing compensation across regions

• Excellent communication skills in English
