Shape the future of Canadian litigation with Lenczner Slaght as a Legal Talent Manager. Focus on student recruitment and development while working in a hybrid model.
In this strategic role, you’ll lead the firm’s student recruitment and development programs while contributing to broader initiatives. You will oversee the student lifecycle, from initial recruitment through their transition to associates, ensuring a supportive and rigorous learning experience. This dynamic position blends both strategy and execution, requiring collaboration with partners, students, and law schools to attract and develop exceptional legal talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the firm’s recruitment process for law students
• Represent Lenczner Slaght at campus events and career fairs
• Oversee onboarding and mentorship for summer and articling students
• Develop and evaluate training programs for students
• Monitor emerging trends in legal talent and education
Requirements:
• J.D. or LL.B. with Law Society membership
• Minimum of three years in litigation practice
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Willingness to travel to Canadian law schools
