Annual salary ranges from $126,000 to $147,000 CAD, with a starting salary of $140,000 CAD for candidates fully prepared to take on the role.

- Formulate and execute a comprehensive people strategy over multiple quarters for your designated teams, focusing on initiatives that yield significant business results.
- Approach talent management, performance, and leadership effectiveness as key deliverables, identifying challenges, setting measurable goals, and continuously refining these areas through data analysis.
- Employ a methodical approach to instigate change by generating hypotheses, conducting pilot programs, and expanding successful strategies across the organization.
- Create tools and automated processes, including AI-driven solutions, to streamline tasks for team leaders and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Managers, Directors, and VPs on matters of organizational structure, performance evaluation, succession planning, and the development of leadership capabilities.
- Work alongside Talent Acquisition and Talent Enablement teams to create frameworks that not only retain but also cultivate high-performing talent within the organization.
- Utilize data proactively to identify potential risks and trends, offering insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Simplify complex and critical decisions by clearly outlining trade-offs and guiding leaders toward essential actions.
- Shape leadership decisions by integrating data insights, sound judgment, and a well-defined perspective during periods of organizational growth, transition, or conflict.
- Uphold high-performance standards within your teams, assisting leaders in assessing impact, potential, and suitability for roles.
- Enhance the timeliness and quality of talent-related decisions by equipping leaders to address challenges early and take decisive action.
- Exercise sound judgment in pivotal People decisions, including role definitions, succession planning, and exits, while balancing fairness, team dynamics, and business continuity.
- Contribute to refining the processes for performance evaluation and discussion throughout Relay, identifying areas for improvement and testing enhancements for consistency and effectiveness.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in People Business Partnering or related strategic People roles.
- Proven track record of collaborating closely with senior leadership or executive teams.
- Ability to conceptualize systems and outcomes, crafting scalable solutions that drive results.
- Experience functioning as a strategic leader, setting objectives, making informed trade-offs, and being accountable for outcomes.
- Strong understanding of business dynamics, particularly how talent, performance, and leadership decisions influence execution, retention, and overall results.
- Proficient in data utilization and experimentation, including hypothesis formulation, test design, metric establishment, and stakeholder management.
- Comfortable navigating high-stakes discussions with clarity and empathy, particularly regarding performance, role definitions, and exit strategies.
- A collaborative mindset, actively seeking diverse input, aligning stakeholders, and refining shared processes.
- A sense of urgency, dependable follow-through, and a commitment to owning outcomes.
- Preference for developing innovative solutions in uncertain environments rather than merely applying existing frameworks.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with digital banking or fintech sectors.
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in HR or People Management.
- Knowledge of AI and its applications in HR processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in HRIS and performance management systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
