We're looking for an enthusiastic full-time permanent Talent Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you'll play a key role in attracting exceptional talent while creating an outstanding candidate experience from application to hire.

As our Talent Coordinator, you'll support recruitment initiatives across the organization while helping us build a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workforce.
What you will do:- Oversee the job posting process including coordination with multiple departments and external Job Boards including crafting job postings with inclusive language, reviewing postings for accuracy, establishing fair policies and networking with candidates from under-represented groups.
- Assist with the screening, interviewing and recommend prospective employees working alongside the Talent team
- Assist with sourcing candidates from various avenues such as:
Linked In, Facebook, job boards including Indeed, networking, job fairs, employee referrals, etc. - Assist the Recruiters with establishing relationships with schools, alumni groups, employment equity related service providers and other organizations to find and attract applicants of diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct Reference checks that are non-biased, inclusive and accessible to help management select the right resources with the right skills, values and leadership attributes
- Contribute to the overall talent strategy that provides equal opportunities to all candidates and ensures compliance to organizational policies and procedures and legislative guidelines
- Track and assist with reporting and recruitment analytics
- Participate and assist in the coordination of recruitment events as required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- CHRP designation (or working towards) an asset.
- At least two (2) years of recruiting experience with demonstrated ability to recruit remotely in multiple geographies along with varying levels of positions.
- Experience recruiting candidates from the health care and/or congregate care setting highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels is essential.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with multi-provincial laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems preferably Dayforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
