ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities
- Act as a visible onsite HR partner and build trusted relationships with employees, leaders and corporate support teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing timely guidance to resolve workplace concerns /grievances and foster a fair, supportive, and compliant workplace culture.
- Work closely with local stakeholders, employees, managers, partner organization and others in the business unit to fully understand local needs (of the client, line of business, local requirements) and create targeted and specific people support plans.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, HR Specialists, Training and the HR Helpdesk team to resolve employee matters appropriately and efficiently.
- Support the delivery of HR programs and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and the overall employee experience.
- Partner with leaders during organizational changes, new program launches, ramp‑ups, reductions, schedule changes, and other business transitions.
- Serve as an onsite Health and Safety representative, supporting workplace safety practices, incident follow‑up, and related employee guidance.
- Provide real‑time HR support for urgent site matters, escalating issues as appropriate and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and site‑level initiatives that improve HR service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Required Skills
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- At least seven (7+) years of progressive HR experience within a fast paced working environment.
- Proven experience in an HR role that partnered with the business and demonstrated ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of provincial employment law and regulatory bodies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Employee Relations and Labour Relations experience
- Fluent in English. Bilingual French/English an asset
