Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a rapidly growing food company is looking for a HR Business Partner to join the team!

What you'd do:

• Be the go-to HR partner for both frontline operations and corporate teams, supporting salaried staff and a large hourly, multi-location workforce across several regions
• Own employee relations end to end — investigations, conflict resolution, terminations
• Partner with leadership to reduce turnover among frontline teams
• Support hiring and onboarding for corporate and hourly roles
• Build out performance review cycles, succession planning, and career development paths
• Help roll out bonus and incentive programs
• Keep HR policies compliant across multiple jurisdictions
• Build out handbooks and HR infrastructure as the company scales
• Manage benefits administration and leave programs
• Help select and implement HR systems (HRIS, ATS)
• Benchmark pay and support compensation equity
• Drive culture and engagement initiatives

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or generalist
• Experience supporting a multi-location, distributed workforce (retail, hospitality, or food service strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions (Canadian provinces required, U.S. familiarity a plus)
• Comfortable running employee relations investigations independently
• Thrives in fast-paced environments where you're building processes, not just following them
• Strong at earning trust with both frontline managers and senior leadership
