Full-Time Payroll Specialist

Join Youthdale Treatment Centres as a Payroll Specialist and make an impact in Toronto. This full-time position emphasizes accurate payroll processing and employee benefits management.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance. You'll be responsible for the timely and precise execution of payroll for over 200 employees while collaborating with HR to resolve employee payroll inquiries. Your analytical skills and knowledge of payroll systems will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of semi-monthly payroll

• Manage employee benefit setups and maintenance

• Maintain payroll files and process employee changes

• Prepare monthly payroll journal entries

• Conduct deep-dive analysis into payroll and budgets

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in finance or business is required

• 3+ years experience in Payroll and Benefits

• Experience with Ultipro HRIS is a plus

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
