Plant HR Generalist at Sofina Foods

Become a vital part of Sofina Foods as a Plant HR Generalist. This role is key to navigating employee relations and ensuring compliance with HR initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee HR programs that cater to salary and unionized staff. This includes coaching operational leaders, resolving employee grievances, and managing attendance programs. You will interact directly with employees, influencing the workplace culture to align with the company's objectives and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver HR support for hourly and leadership staff

• Apply the Collective Agreement in daily operations

• Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions

• Organize employee engagement and training activities

• Ensure accurate HR record keeping and reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent

• 3–5+ years in a similar HR role

• Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Kronos

• Highly organized and self-driven
