Position: Equity and Compensation Architect at Mercor
Mercor is searching for an Equity and Compensation Architect to design its total rewards structure from the ground up. This position is pivotal as the company progresses into new stages of growth.
As we aim for a clearer compensation philosophy, you will lead in building salary structures and equity programs that cater to our expanding workforce. Your experience will guide the development of credible incentive designs and the implementation of effective communication strategies regarding equity value. This role plays a significant part in shaping employee satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct job architecture and establish salary bands

• Manage the annual compensation cycle including equity refresh

• Develop clear grant guidelines for option and RSU programs

• Conduct thorough benchmarking against industry standards

• Communicate the value of equity to new hires and employees
Requirements:

• Experience in either compensation design or equity management

• Skills in handling 409A valuations and grant processes

• Understanding of pay equity and transparency principles

• Knowledge of designing global compensation frameworks

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
