Responsibilities:
Provide legal support for Asset Management, focusing on equity funds, debt, real estate, infrastructure, and private creditAdvise on regulatory matters and distribution-related client issuesParticipate in firm-wide legal initiatives and organizational transformation projectsDraft, review, and negotiate institutional account agreements, investment management contracts, and fund documentationUpdate internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory developmentsDeliver actionable legal advice to business partners and manage internal stakeholder relationshipsSupport product development and act as a product specialist for alternative fundsMinimum Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in Ontario6+ years practicing law, preferably within a financial institution, asset manager, or law firm with a strong investment management focusExperience with institutional asset management and regulatory frameworks (OSC, CSA)Experience with alternative asset classes such as real estate, infrastructure, and direct lendingExperience negotiating agreements in the asset management spaceExperience in Canadian and/or European markets is a plusCompensation, Benefits &
