Position: Law Clerk, Litigation (Restructuring and Insolvency)

As part of the continued growth of its restructuring and insolvency litigation team, the firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Law Clerk motivated by bothplex file work and future leadership potential—including a defined path toward a Team Lead role.
Your new role
In this role, you will support a team of 4–6 lawyers dedicated to a major institutional client with a heavy restructuring and insolvency litigation focus. You will also collaborate closely with Practice Assistants who support the same group, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery of work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing litigation steps withinplex restructuring and insolvency mattersPreparing and organizing court materials, pleadings, affidavits of documents, and productionsSupporting motions, applications, and hearings related to insolvency proceedingsCoordinating with clients, monitors, trustees, and external stakeholdersAssisting with research, trial prep, and detailed timelinesHelping to mentor junior team members and improving internal processes, with the long-term aim of moving into a team lead capacityThis is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week.
What you'll need to succeed5+ years of experience specifically in restructuring and insolvency litigationProven ability to manage sophisticated, fast-paced litigation files independentlyStrong familiarity with insolvency court processes, filings, and timelinesExcellent file management skills andfort working with multiple lawyers simultaneouslyA proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a strongmitment to client serviceAn interest in leadership, mentorship, and developing into a future team leadAbility to meet a 1200-hour billable targetWhat you'll get in return
