About the Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to support its busy real estate group. The role involves assisting with commercial real estate transactions, preparing documentation, and ensuring files move smoothly from start to finish. You will handle title searches, review parcel information, identify issues for counsel, and prepare electronic registration and security documentation. Due diligence work and coordinating with lenders will form a regular part of your responsibilities.

The Offer
The firm provides a stable practice setting with a structured onboarding period and a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will begin on-site for approximately six weeks before transitioning to three in-office days per week. The firm maintains a strong commitment to training, teamwork, and workflow support, and this position has the potential to evolve into a full on-site role depending on operational needs.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in real estate law
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and lending processes
• Proficiency with title searching, Teraview, parcel reviews, and electronic registration
• Understanding of title insurance processes
• A Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma is an asset
