Annual Salary: $134,216 – $176,500 per annum

Reporting to the Head of Operations and as a member of the senior operations leadership team, you will focus on protecting and enhancing the safety of all Nestlé Canada employees with a strong emphasis on prevention. You will advise the Operations Leader on all aspects of Safety, drive national‑level initiatives, and lead site initiatives that continuously improve Safety performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset of zero accidents and incidents.

- Direct and coordinate the development and implementation of the Corporate Safety strategy & program.
- Recommend and be accountable to meet corporate Safety objectives while considering local and global goals.
- Monitor and communicate performance to improve decision‑making and work directly with all business and site leads to integrate Safety into business decisions.
- Implement, control, maintain, and improve the Corporate Safety Management systems, achieving and maintaining OHSAS 18001 certification across Canada. This includes developing tools and initiatives and exercising functional leadership of local site managers nationwide.
- Provide coaching & support to corporate site managers, sales team managers, and line managers to achieve national safety objectives and ensure Safety remains a line‑management responsibility. Ensure Safety performance data is available and correctly managed.
- Champion the corporate Safety risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action, and auditing.
- University Degree in a Safety, Health, and Environment related field is required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience across safety, health and/or environmental areas.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, LEAN, and TPM concepts.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Successfully demonstrated ability to manage change.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through others.
