** We are looking for a professional to fill the position of Senior Strategic Risk Management Advisor within the Integrated Risk Management team, reporting to the Executive Vice President of Risk Management and Compliance.

This role places you at the heart of strategic decisions, where risk management becomes an essential lever for guiding and securing the organization's trajectory.
** Your next role and new responsibilities will involve:
*** Acting as a resource person under the executive vice president in guiding and selecting strategic risk management practices (mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and emerging risks).
* Coordinate tools, work methods, and efforts with other lines of defense in identifying, monitoring, and reporting on strategic risks.
* Maintain and develop the organization's practices in order to provide a comprehensive and holistic quarterly view of the strategic risks affecting the organization, in cross-functional collaboration with the various teams of the Executive Vice President and other stakeholders.
* Participate in various steering committees and other relevant forums as the person responsible for monitoring strategic risks and take charge of periodic reporting on strategic risks.
* Maintain, implement, and develop the second line of defense risk monitoring program for the Group's strategic initiatives.
* Ensure alignment and consistency of partner practices with respect to the Group's strategic initiative risk second line of defense monitoring program and corporate policies.
* Support and guide partners in their risk analyses of strategic initiatives, advising them and raising their awareness of best practices in risk management and the most effective mitigation measures.
* Monitor the application of frameworks and standards for strategic risks across all business sectors of the iA Group.
* Participate in any assignment where your expertise is required.
** What could accelerate your success in this position:
*** Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or other relevant field;
* 5 to 10 years of experience managing strategic accounts that required a high degree of negotiation and influence with business sectors;
* More than 5 years of experience in risk management or other relevant field;
* Experience in program implementation, risk assessment for large projects, or as a project manager;
* Experience working in a regulated environment within Canadian financial institutions, preferably in insurance and financial products;
* Ability to communicate effectively with business partners from different backgrounds;
* Highly adaptable and able to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment;
* Ability to communicate effectively and simplify complex information.
* Advanced level of English and French (bilingualism) as the person will be required to communicate on a daily basis with internal and external contacts.
* Knowledge of LEAN principles (an asset).

* The typical hiring range for this position is between $80,000 and $130,000; the base salary may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity.  (Including job-related benefits):
