Regional Asset Protection Manager (Canada)

About Your Role:

As a Regional Asset Protection Manager
, you’ll be accountable for leading the Asset Protection function across 275+ stores spanning seven provinces and two distribution centers
. In this highly visible role, you’ll oversee asset protection programs, risk assessments, investigations, audits, and inventory control practices while partnering closely with field leadership to reduce loss, improve profitability, and enhance safety. This is a remote role
, ideally based in Toronto, Ontario
, with extensive travel requirements of approximately 75%.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Asset Protection Strategy & Shrink Reduction:
  • Identify root causes of shrinkage and implement solutions to reduce loss and strengthen operational controls
  • Lead and manage asset protection programs, policies, and practices across stores and distribution centers
  • Monitor, analyze, and follow up on statistical data and reporting related to inventory and cash losses
  • Utilize exception-based reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and investigative opportunities
Audits, Investigations & Compliance:
  • Administer and conduct audits to create awareness, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to District Managers during investigations of integrity issues
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting and recordkeeping for all incidents and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with Asset Protection, operational, and inventory control standards
Training, Safety & Awareness:
  • Enhance associate education and loss prevention awareness programs across the region
  • Support and reinforce Health and Safety programs and practices
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and safety at all levels of the organization
Leadership & Partnership:
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with leaders and associates across the organization
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive consistent Asset Protection execution
  • Provide leadership, insight, and strategic recommendations to reduce risk and improve performance
Your Required

Skills and Experience:
  • 7–10 years of experience in a multi-store retail environment in an Asset Protection capacity
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with exception-based reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
  • College or University degree in an associated field
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills
