The PM works closely with the Superintendent and client to manage project details, supports on-site teams, reviews drawings and designs, and guarantees adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
You should be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers results with minimal supervision.
- Pay Range: 130K - 180K (based on experience)
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Job type: Permanent | Full-time
- Assume full accountability for successful project execution, meeting contractual, quality, and performance benchmarks.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, trades, and site teams, ensuring seamless communication from project initiation through completion.
- Monitor and control project scope, timelines, and costs to maintain alignment with approved plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams-including technical staff, engineering, safety, quality control, and subcontractors-to develop and implement execution strategies.
- Ensure construction activities adhere to drawings, specifications, codes, and regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance and problem-solving assistance to Site Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Coordinators.
- Review and authorize purchase requisitions, subcontract agreements, and invoice payments.
- Enforce compliance with all applicable Occupational Health & Safety regulations for the project location.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, methods, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with warehouse, distribution facilities, and large retail construction preferred.
- Collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills across all levels-clients, management, crews, and trades.
- Solid understanding of scheduling, trade coordination, and budget control.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
