Director of Development

Behavioral Health Leadership ~ Rocky Mountain Region

A mission-driven behavioral healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising, grant strategy, donor relations, marketing, communications, and community engagement. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building relationships, and advancing meaningful healthcare work.

This position partners closely with executive leadership to increase philanthropic support, strengthen partnerships, and elevate the organizations presence across the community.

Position Highlights

Salary: $105K $126K DOE
✔️ Full-time, Monday - Friday
✔️
Hybrid schedule: in-office 34 days per week
✔️ Significant community engagement, donor interaction, and fundraising focus
✔️ Lead grants, major gifts, annual giving, and special events
✔️ Executive-level collaboration and strategic influence

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years in development, fundraising, or advancement (healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred)
  • Proven success securing grants, leading fundraising campaigns, and cultivating donor relationships
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Bilingual / bi-cultural experience a plus
